We are very happy that Pablo Villar offers the opportunity to promote Tactical Sailing in Argentina (ARG) again, this time for the Laser Regatta 2024 in his "Club Náutico Olivos (CNO)". Andy Villar, himself a laser sailor ARG 220260 is part of the organising team. We are sending a voucher for all sailors on the flyer for the ILCA - Copa "Patricio Homps" 2024.
The participants of the Laser Regatta in Argentina will be provided with a Tactical Sailing tool "Coach's - Highlights" with the “Laser” model - and even in a Spanish, English or German language version. Pablo: "The Tactical Sailing Tool will certainly help them understand the reasons for tactical decisions and make them better tactical sailors"! "TacticalSailing.es" in Spanish is used worldwide by sailors in: ARG, CHI, ESP, FRA, NED, UKR, MEX, URU, POR.

With more than 50 competitors, it was a success! On Saturday there was wind of 12-17 kts from the NE and three races could be sailed. Unfortunately no wind on Sunday, no regatta. Nevertheless, there was a lot of fun: pizzas, portenos and we laughed a lot! The winners received the “Cup” and special prizes: sunscreen, rigging accessories and vouchers for Tactical Sailing - Coach's Highlights!
"The 'Coach's Highlights' are a selection of 20 tactical exercises from the overall program of the 'Coach's Toolbox' with over 100 exercises. In the overview you can select a 'keyword' and with a 'click' the exercise starts. You are automatically taken to the category in the menu item: TIPS TACTICS. In this menu item you can also use other tactical exercises, e.g. 'Field or regatta tactics'. If you would like to experience the “Fun of sailing” at the end of a practice session, choose a game 'for two or for fourth'.
- Overview of TIPS TACTICS: These are tactical exercises and situations that a trainer or experienced regatta sailor should know as an introduction to the topic of 'tactics'. This includes knowledge of:
Start and finish line, - Playing field, - Switch point, - Curry turn - Field tactics with 8 exercises - Regatta tactics for fleet, match and team races
- Fun of sailing: extra Sailing Games - Endless fun - fox hunting, chain of buoys, scooter or slalom.
Coach's Highlights Program requires a new special license key.
- Right of way: the essential rules of the right of way, e.g. leeward boat, wind from starboard and overlapping, a total of 14 situations are simulated and explained.
